About Boards for Bros: We are skateboarders and caring individuals giving ALL kids a chance to have their very own first skateboard. In 2006 at the Skatepark of Tampa, we started to collect and refurbish skateboards to distribute to youth who could not afford their own. In 2014, we became a 501(c)3 non-profit organization fully committed to providing equipment, safe skate spots and youth mentoring in our community. Additionally, our model empowers skateboarders to participate in community service as a donor, volunteer or project manager.
